The Inner Workings of Sophie's Mind

Sophia likes to get into the dishwasher.
Sophia likes to take all the dishes out.
Sophia likes to close the dishwasher door.
Sophia likes to get the dishwasher detergent out.
Sophia likes to turn the dishwasher dial.
Each one of these things she has learned by itself and on different days.
Well today I was doing the dishes, I turn around and lo and behold she has filled
dishwasher with soap (the best she knows how) and is putting the lid back on the bottle.
I wish you could see my memory of it, so you would know how cute and funny it was.
She now knows how to load, empty, and start the dishwasher.
She learned each task, and then finally put it all together.

4 Little Birds Sat on My Window

I woke up one morning and there were all these cardinals on our lawn. I showed the kids and they were so excited. We looked up lots of wild birds on the internet and the sounds that they make. We decided to go and buy a bird feeder. These are our visitors.
The kids sitting on the counter, looking out the window at the birds.
Our first visitor, then she went and told all her friends.
Our second visitor, Cameron the squirrel. She visits our yard all the time.
Cameron hanging by her tail to get the birdseed.
Uh...oh! Cameron the squirrel dropped on to the feeder and is swinging.

Helicopters!

Sophia's favorite things to point out are helicopters and doggies. She can hear both a mile away.
The cutest thing is how she just learned to say helicopter.
It goes something like this...hede-cotter. I am amazed she can even say that:)
I might also add...that she has now learned to climb out of her crib. This is a hard one for me. She is only 18 months and my other kids never learned to climb out. I knew she would do it, just not so soon. Miss independent!

Crazy kids!

Sophia's new hiding spot!
Wacky day at Sierra's school!
She loved it. She got to wear whatever
she wanted and mom couldn't say no.
"Can you handle this?"
